At the June 17 meeting of the Dell Rapids City Council, Mayor Tom Earley read the official proclamation, designating June 22nd, 2024, as Casey MCoy Day in Dell Rapids. Hovey and Earley are members of the Dell Rapids Lions Club that initiated this award in 2023. It is based on service to the community.
