Dell Rapids Lions distribute "kindness rocks"

Be on the lookout for little "gems" like these that can be found around Dell Rapids in the very near future.

Members of the Dell Rapids Lions Club will distribute dozens of painted"kindness rocks," each with a positive message on it. This is one of the projects the cllub has taken on while participating in Lions Inernational's worldwide effort to support mental health and well-being during the week of Oct. 4-12. This service week coincides with World Mental Health Day on Oct. 10.

All around the world, Lions are working to raise awareness of the importance of mental health and well-being, to educate and support our communities, and advocate for positive change.

Find a kindness rock to keep, to pass on to a friend, or place in another spot to be found by someone else.

Kindness ... pass it on.
